NEW MEMBER INFORMATION
The Greater Bridgeport Bar
Association, established in 1880, has evolved from a
few dedicated lawyers seeking the fellowship of
their legal peers to an organization whose
membership currently exceeds 700 attorneys and
represents a variety of professional areas,
including government lawyers, judges, law school
faculty, private practitioners and corporate
counsel, paralegals and legal administrators.
Although its size has grown over the years, the
nature of the organization remains essentially the
same—it is an organization that provides its members
with the opportunity to learn and grow in a
congenial and friendly atmosphere.
All new applicants are required to be a member in
good standing of the Bar of the State of Connecticut
or any other jurisdiction. We also offer
Associate Member status to paralegals and legal
administrators.
